Core Gameplay Mechanics:

Health
If this reaches 0, your run ends.
Sanity
If this reaches 0, your run ends.
Light
Represents the percentage chance (between 0% and 60%) that you will successfully see what’s behind a given door before choosing to open it.
Skills
Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Charisma, Perception. Each point you invest in a skill increases your chance of success on a relevant skill check by 5%.
